We held our annual Christmas Luncheon at Meaden Hall on Saturday, Dec. 9th.  It was a fundraiser for our Hope Project and for the Scholarship Fund.  

Many people helped with the arrangements, baking, donations for silent auction and miscellaneous items for sale, the set-up and clean-up, ticket sales and in many other ways.  It was enjoyed by all. 

Another successful fundraiser sponsored by Fraser’s Thimble Farm!  Over 90 hanging baskets were sold to raise general funds to support CFUW Salt Spring activities.

CFUW members held a very successful Bridge Luncheon on November 4, 2011 at the Lions Hall attended by 54 people: 52 playing bridge at 13 tables.

The laughter and conversation throughout the afternoon suggested a happy and congenial gathering.  There were many compliments on the lunch and general organization.  The Treasurer will be reporting on the financial outcome.
